Easy listing experience

I got the Standard Business Listing for my little craft shop. It was pretty straightforward to set up, took me about 15 minutes. Haven't seen a ton of traffic yet, but it's only been a week.

Amazing! Great visibility!

I decided to go for the Featured Business Listing and it was totally worth it! My salon's profile got so much more attention. I had three new customers mention they found me through Afrobiz in the first month. The process was super easy too. I'm definitely renewing next year!

Good value for a new business

As a new business owner, every dollar counts, so I was looking for the best bang for my buck. I snagged a discount on the Premium Business Listing during a special promotion. The features looked good, especially for the price I paid. I was able to upload more photos and get a bit more visibility than the free option. It felt like a solid investment to get my brand out there without breaking the bank. The sign-up was simple enough, and I felt I got good value for what I spent.

wondering if anyone has used their website design services? How was it, worth the cost?

T Troy Vargas 1 week ago
My cousin used them for a basic site and was pretty happy. Nothing super fancy but got the job done and looked professional. Good for a startup.

I haven't personally, but I've heard good things about their marketing packages in general. I'd ask for some examples of their web design work if you're seriously considering it.

How does Afrobiz compare to something like Official Black Wall Street? Trying to decide where to focus my directory efforts.

E Emma 1 week ago
Afrobiz feels more focused on connecting within the community and has pretty good support if you run into issues. Official Black Wall Street is bigger, but sometimes feels less personal.

I use both. Afrobiz has a stronger community vibe, I think. Official Black Wall Street has more traffic but it's a broader audience. Depends if you want more niche or wider reach.

I saw something about a 'Tales of Triumph' contest. Is that still happening, and how do you enter?

D Derek 2 weeks ago
I think they run that periodically, not constantly. You usually submit a story about your business journey. Check their main page or blog for updates, they announce it there.

It's usually a seasonal thing. They'll drop a link on their site when it's open for submissions. Keep an eye out around specific celebration months.

Thinking of upgrading my listing. Can I stack a couple of coupon codes, like a new member one and another promo code?

S Sam 1 week ago
Nah, usually you can only use one coupon per purchase. Most sites are like that. It'll probably tell you at checkout if you try to add a second.

Pretty sure their policy is one coupon at a time. I tried it once and it just replaced the first one I entered.

Has anyone tried the affiliate program? Is it actually worth it, like do you make decent commissions?

N Nick Romero 4 weeks ago
It's okay, not going to make you rich but decent if you have a good network to refer. They usually have a free trial so you can test it out.

I did the free trial. Commissions are alright, nothing crazy. It helps if you're already talking about business resources anyway, makes it easy to just drop a link.
